Paper IO is a fast-paced multiplayer game where every move counts. You control a block that draws lines to capture territory on the map. Sounds easy—until someone crosses your path and knocks you out. With dozens of players competing at once, holding your ground gets intense. Whether you're playing for a quick match or chasing the leaderboard, it's hard to stop once you start.
Use the arrow keys (or WASD) to move your cube. As you move, your trail forms a loop—once it connects back to your land, the enclosed space becomes yours. But there’s a risk: if anyone crosses your trail before you complete the loop, you're out.
The game has no extra rules or complicated power-ups. What makes it exciting is the tension—players are always nearby, waiting for an opening. Your best move might be defending your territory just as much as expanding it.
Keep close to your base early on—don’t get greedy too fast
Only go wide when the area around you is clear
Circle smaller areas quickly instead of risking large loops
Watch enemy paths and cut them off before they close their loops
Move unpredictably to stay alive longer
